1. Welcome and overview
Welcome to Coco Royale Island & Co.! This website is operated by Alegoria International LLC - Coco Royale Island PS, a protected series of Alegoria International LLC, a Florida limited liability company, doing business as Coco Royale Island & Co. (“we,” “us,” “our”). By visiting this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Refund Policy, our Shipping Policy, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. We may update these Terms from time to time by posting changes on this page, and your continued use of the site means you accept them. Our online store is hosted by Shopify.
2. Florida cottage food notice
Our coffee, tea, and, when available, cacao and chocolate products are made in a home kitchen as a cottage food operation under Section 500.80, Florida Statutes. Cottage food products are not inspected by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Each product label states: “Made in a cottage food operation that is not subject to Florida’s food safety regulations.” We sell only prepackaged, shelf-stable products directly to consumers.
3. Florida-only sales; no resale
We’re proud to be a Florida business. Under Florida cottage food law, we sell directly to consumers and only within Florida. Orders must be delivered or picked up in Florida. If an order is placed for delivery outside Florida, we’ll cancel it and refund you in full. Gift orders are always welcome, but our products may not be resold. We do not sell wholesale, and we may limit or cancel any order that appears to be placed by a dealer, reseller, or distributor.
4. Ingredients, allergens, and caffeine
Your health matters to us. Our products are made in a home kitchen where other foods, which may include milk, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, wheat, and eggs, are also prepared, so cross-contact is possible. Please read the ingredient list on each label. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please contact us before ordering and we’ll be glad to help. Coffee, cacao, and many teas contain caffeine. Information on this site is not medical advice.
5. Orders, pricing, and taxes
Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. We may refuse, limit, or cancel any order, including orders placed under the same account, card, or address. Applicable Florida sales tax is calculated at checkout where required. You agree to provide accurate billing and shipping information. Promotional offers, including the welcome offer for new email subscribers, are limited to one per customer, cannot be combined with other offers, have no cash value, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
6. Shipping and delivery
We ship within Florida by USPS, UPS, or another carrier we choose. Orders typically ship within 3-5 business days, and delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Please enter a correct Florida address at checkout. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless we made the error. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers the package. Because chocolate can melt, we do not ship chocolate or other heat-sensitive products. They are available for local pickup or delivery within Florida, or for events, arranged with us. 7. Returns and refunds
We want you to be happy with your order. For food-safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened or used food products. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us through the form on our Contact page, or reply to your order confirmation email, within 2 business days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We’ll replace the item or refund you at our discretion. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Please see our Refund Policy for details.
8. About our products
We describe our coffee, tea, and other products, including roast dates, origins, and tasting notes, in good faith. Taste is personal, lots and availability vary, and images may differ slightly from the actual product. We can’t guarantee that a product will meet every expectation, but we’d love to hear from you if something isn’t right.
9. Comments and reviews
If you submit comments, reviews, or other material, you grant us a non-exclusive right to use, edit, and publish them. You are responsible for their accuracy and agree they will not be unlawful, abusive, or infringing. We may remove any content at our discretion.
10. Our intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, photographs, product descriptions, graphics, packaging designs, and logos, is owned by or licensed to Alegoria International LLC - Coco Royale Island PS and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. “Coco Royale Island,” “Coco Royale Island & Co.,” our logo, and our product names are our trademarks. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use them, or any site content, for commercial purposes without our written permission. You may share links to our site and pictures of products you have purchased for personal, non-commercial use.
11. Prohibited uses
You may not use this site for any unlawful purpose, to infringe the rights of others, to submit false or misleading information, to transmit viruses or malicious code, to use bots or automated tools to scrape or harvest data or overload the site, or to interfere with its security. Ordinary search-engine indexing is permitted. We may terminate your access for any violation.

This site may link to or use third-party services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices.
13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the site and our products are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, we, Alegoria International LLC, and our members, managers, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our products. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under applicable law or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless us, Alegoria International LLC, and our members, managers, employees, and contractors from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of Manatee County, Florida.
16. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us.
